Site Survey

What to expect from a Site Survey

All our garden rooms are individually designed to our clients requirements, therefore it is essential that we carry out a site survey.

Before this takes place we have an initial conversation over the telephone so that we can provide you with a guide price, based on size.

The site survey includes a visit to your home to look at the site, review access, ground works, discuss your design ideas including size, shape, style, placements of windows/doors etc.

We will show you the choice of colours for the windows and doors, electrical fittings, roof felt, flooring etc.

After the site survey we will provide you with 3D computer generated visuals, which can be amended until you are happy with the final design.

Once you are happy with the design of your garden room we provide a detailed quotation for your perusal.

Design Service

We provide a full bespoke design service to ensure your garden room meets all your requirements.

Following the site survey we will provide you with 3-D visuals of your proposed garden room and will make changes to the design until you are happy with your building.

We will design the building so that it fits into the shape of your garden, minimising the loss of valuable garden space. Tapered backs to follow the fence line are our speciality.

We will also design the internal layout and provide visuals showing how your furniture fits into the space created.

Planning Advice

We offer advice on the planning and building regulations which may affect your garden building, in accordance with the Planning Regulations Guidelines.

If your garden room requires planning permission, we can liaise with the planning department and submit applications on your behalf.

We can also submit building control applications if required, see FAQ's.

Planning permission regulations were revised in October 2008.

This now means that if you comply with a basic set of rules, planning permission is not required.

You can check out the details at The Planning Regulations Website

Project Management

We are a family business, we do not use sub-contractors to build our garden rooms.

We only book in one project at a time this allows us to give the project 100% commitment and excellent service, Ben is onsite through the whole duration of the project to ensure it runs on schedule, liasing with the clients during the build process.

We have an excellent team of professionals to do specific trades i.e. electrician, tiler, plasterer, roofer.

This approach means that we care about the build process and we ensure that the garden room is finished to an extremely high standard.

We provide an excellent after sales service to ensure the client is 100% happy with their building, we hold a 30 day retention payment back and invoice once any snagging has been finished.

We offer a turnkey solution, managing the whole build process and pass you the keys on the handover day.
