PROJECT OVERVIEW

A stylish Garden Gym has been designed to fit into the corner of this Bristol garden, to create a practical space for daily cycle training.  Size 4m x 3.4m.

Our standard electrical package includes LED recessed internal and external down lights, smoke alarm, Cat6 connected at both ends for WiFi, external and internal power sockets (one in the floor).

Air conditioning was installed, great for providing heating in the winter and cooling for the summer and during a workout.

Build on a fully reinforced concrete foundation, important when creating a solid gym floor with the added benefit that rodents and foxes can NOT nest underneath.

Dark grey Cedral Weatherboard cladding, finished with render on the front elevation gives a unique contemporary feel.  This project included an upgrade to acoustic plasterboard and additional wall noggins for mounting of TV.

Build time 2 weeks.

Feedback:

Superb from first enquiry to final handover of the garden room. We arranged for John to visit to see the site, demonstrate materials and agree final dimensions and a formal quote from Alison quickly followed. We also went to see a fully built room in Ferndown before confirming. All aspects of the contract are very clearly laid out. Although COVID introduced a small delay, communications re start dates were excellent. There was a major challenge at the start of the build when the mini digger was too big to get through to the rear garden, but John and Paul worked tirelessly to complete a hand dig in a day. All materials were then delivered on time and the build went excellently. John is an excellent craftsman – I cannot believe that any company out there is doing a higher quality job – in fact I cannot think how they could do a better job. The site was left very tidy at all times during the build and all waste removed at the end. The final product is outstanding and finished to a very high standard, with air conditioning and internet connectivity fitted to support usage for my indoor cycling. I can also use as an office and my wife has already used the room for online violin teaching.

All in all superb in all regards. There are clearly companies out there doing cheaper installations but I am sure that these come nowhere near to this standard. The room is very well constructed and will no doubt last for many many years. Thank you very much John, Alison, Paul and Gavin plus the various additional contractors used throughout.
