Two Garden Rooms - Branksome, Dorset
PROJECT OVERVIEW
Two contemporary Garden Rooms have been built in this stunning Woodland garden, both with two distinct uses.
The largest building measuring 7.4m x 4.4m has been split into 2 areas, a large gym with bespoke flooring and a smaller office for our client to work from home.
When working from home, its important to separate your domestic life from your work, by creating both mental and physical boundaries. The best way to create a motivating and productive environment is to have a dedicated workspace, an office in the garden is the perfect solution.
The smaller garden room measuring 3.4m x 2.9m is a cosy place of quiet retreat for reading and relaxing, overlooking the beautiful woodland.
The black Cedral cladding on the exterior together with the black window/door frames blend into the landscape nicely.
Electrics include connections at both the house and garden rooms; plenty of double power sockets, external power socket, external security lights, LED down lights, Cat6 data points, security alarm, TV, heating and smoke alarms.
As with all projects built within a woodland area, an arboricultural assessment is required to provide an Arboricultural Method Statement, this is a document that outlines step-by step-instructions relating to tree works and tree protection measures to be implemented during the construction process.
Both of these garden rooms were built within 5 weeks.
Feedback from client:
Our two garden rooms in our woodlands are now finished and they have surpassed our high expectations. There was no slippage in start and finish date even with adding a smaller garden room into the equation by us at the last minute. The quality of the materials and workmanship are faultless. The thought and attention to detail superb. We really are pleased and have no hesitation in recommending to the highest level.
